Interview

Nick Deinum, General Manager Max Tender

Nick Deinum is General Manager at Max Tender and as he says himself, "A car guy at heart." He has such admiration for high-quality cars that he regularly serves as a driver himself. As a result, he gets to the most extraordinary places and meets the most extraordinary people.

Personal need

The company stems from a personal need for better care in exclusive car transportation, Nick says. "We ourselves are in the happy possession of a number of special cars. We regularly had these cars transported and that just didn't go the way we liked it. It was just a little too rough and went with just a little too little understanding. When we didn't find what met our own needs, we started arranging it ourselves.

Everything taken care of down to the last detail
The uniqueness of Max Tender is that the company arranges down to the smallest details to ensure that the transport is excellent. Nick: "What typifies us is our meticulousness down to the smallest detail. We make sure that the car arrives at its destination spotlessly, leaving nothing to chance. We get this done because we know from our own experience how important these details are.

In perfect condition from a to b

The entire process from loading to unloading is carried out with precision. "When customers engage us, we make sure that the car is in perfect condition at the desired location at the desired time. We take that task extremely seriously. We treat the cars with great respect. For example, all our people wear cotton gloves to prevent scratches and we always work with a seat cover and a doormat. We also charge the car en route; we do everything we can to make sure the driver drives away worry-free. You won't find this complete transportation almost anywhere."

People love to see with how much care and calm we treat the cars. When we pick up a car, we inspect the vehicle with the owner. We take pictures of the car and incorporate them into the inspection report. Details are gone over. Then we install the seat cover and floor mat. Then the driver puts on soft gloves and gets behind the wheel to very calmly and calmly drive the car onto the transport vehicle. After this he continues, also calmly and calmly, on his way to the destination. Wherever this may be."

"We deliver the car to the desired location and at the desired time."

Wonderful work

It is really wonderful work. For example, I am now on my way to Italy with five classic cars. I am going to take those to Vernasca, to the Vernasca Silver Flag. This is a very special event where classic cars drive like mad up the mountain. A mega spectacle. I deliver the cars there nicely, then I wait a few days and then I take them back. Within transport, this is the best work there is."

Max Tender is looking to strengthen its team. "We are still looking for good ambassadors. People who understand how you transport a high-quality car; the finesse involved. People who understand -from experience- how you want to get into your car as a driver. People who therefore not only have the skills to be able to drive and transport these cars, but who are also close to the customer."
